TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please find below my full terms and conditions. By signing yourself or child up to classes, you are hereby agreeing to the terms and conditions detailed below.
PAYMENT
- Invoices for lessons are sent at the end of each term for the following term.
- Payment is due before the start of your child’s first class each term.
- If you are experiencing difficulty paying your fees, please get in touch ahead of the term.
REFUNDS/CREDITS
- If I am forced to cancel a lesson for a reason beyond my control, I will endeavour to put on a catch-up session within the same term. If this is not possible, a credit will be offered for the following term.
- Refunds/credits will not be offered if you are unable to attend your lesson because of extenuating circumstances including any illnesses, weather conditions or precautionary actions or any other reason beyond my control.
COMMITMENT AND CONDUCT
- Commitment is key. For students to build confidence, develop their understanding, improve technique and make progress, they need to attend consistently.
- It is the student’s responsibility to know their timetable and to arrive at their lesson promptly. If a student misses their lesson, no refund or credit will be given.
- I reserve the right to withdraw a student from my lessons if their behaviour is abusive or uncooperative.
TERMINATION OF CLASSES
- Your child is automatically re-enrolled each term and school year. Therefore, if a student wishes to stop attending a lesson, I require a minimum half term’s notice given in writing.
- Delays or failure to give notice will mean payment for class fees will still be required.
- Absence of notice or late notice for exceptional circumstances will be addressed on an individual basis.
MISCELLANEOUS
- Parents agree to disclose any relevant medical, neuro diverse, disability or special needs that may need considering or additional support that may be required in advance of attendance. I want to provide the best teaching experience to all my students; having the right information will ensure I can do this.
- If you would prefer a different class time, please contact me to let me know that you no longer want the space held for you and to rearrange a new time. This will be subject to availability.
- It is strongly recommended that students wear their own ear protection whilst playing the drums to minimise the risk of damage or loss of hearing. This will not be enforced, but is recommended. I am unable to provide ear protection for students for hygiene reasons but I can offer advice about suitable products.
Please check the details of your booking carefully. If you are uncertain or wish to query any details then please contact me ASAP.
